Brick Calculator
Estimate bricks for a rectangular wall using actual brick dimensions, mortar joints, openings and waste.
This volume method uses a mortar joint allowance on each brick dimension. Bond, corner details and cutting change the actual quantity. Confirm against your wall specification.
How the calculation works
Net wall volume = (length × height − openings area) × thickness. Approximate brick count = net wall volume ÷ modular brick volume, then add waste.
